Koa, a talented student and performer at Northern California Ballet, has achieved a remarkable milestone: he’s been awarded a scholarship to join Ballet West’s prestigious professional training program. At the age of 16, Koa bids farewell to Paradise, embarking on an extraordinary journey to Salt Lake City.
A former Paradise High School student and esteemed member of the wrestling team, Koa’s dedication and charisma endeared him to both the ballet company and the high school community. Despite his departure being deeply felt, there’s an overwhelming sense of pride and excitement for Koa’s incredible opportunity.
While pursuing his dream at Ballet West, Koa will continue his education, determined to complete his high school studies alongside his intensive ballet training. His departure marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter, filled with promise and potential. Though his presence will be greatly missed, Koa’s legacy of excellence and warmth will continue to inspire all who have had the privilege of knowing him.
