Lifespan Metric

Sample Expected Lifespan Graphic from the Star Bright Civilization Simulation

For 300,000 years the human lifespan was about 28 years. Then shortly before 1900 things started to change. In the last 150 years expected lifespan has nearly tripled. The change occurred in 1/2 of 1/100 of one percent of our species existance.

The lifespan metric is one of the 7 key drivers for the Star Bright Quality of Life Metric. The data is taken from https://ourworldindata.org/life-expectancy.

Note that the future extrapolation part of the graph needs to be redone. For a first version it was done as a simple linear extrapolation. It is presented here as a type of progress report. It needs to be changed to an evolutionary logistics curve with an exponetially increasing error.
